About Us
Research Library
The Josephine County Historical Society has a well stocked research library. Just a few of our resources include photos, maps, yearbooks and microfilm copies of The Courier going back to 1885! We also have family histories, news clippings and books about many aspects of Josephine County.
We would love to have you come in and research the history of our county! Our librarians are happy to get you started and lead you in the right direction to find the information you need.
Members are welcome to peruse the library for free during open hours.
We do ask $10 for non-members.
Cash payment is preferred, though cards may be used through our online PayPal system.
Research librarians are available to do research on your behalf. This resource is offered for $20 per hour, with a minimum of one hour. Requests for research can be made below. Please be as detailed as possible with what you are looking for. We may reach out with questions before beginning our research.
