This book is the history of downtown Grants Pass, Oregon. The town began in 1865 and grew slowly, finally being incorporated in 1887. What are now G, 6th and H Streets were the economic center of the town and contained saloons, hotels, restaurants and general stores.

Throughout this book, we will do a deep-dive into the background of the buildings from the beginning days of Grants Pass. We will look at what kinds of businesses have resided in the buildings through the years, what changes have been made and look into any spirits that may still be hanging around!

We will also check out a few stories relating to the buildings that made headlines.
